01.01.05 ||
as we approach the 2 year anniversary of
crybaby's demise, i thought it would be fitting
to make an update regarding our current
projects. i (cj) have a new group called
American Literature. i am
handling the vocal
duties this time as well as the guitar, and mark
is playing drums (mark is also playing with no
river city). i've got some other players on board
as well, but nothing is set in stone yet.
i finished a record recently, and it is available
at the American Literature
site. daniel is now
the bassist for the great Hot
Young Priest, which
also features former members of myssouri
and
shamgod. kelly has a new band going too, but
i'm not sure what they will be called...

01.06.03 ||
well, after much deliberation, i (cj) have
decided to leave crybaby. the band apparently
has no plans to go on without me. this site will
expire in march, and after that we can be con-
tacted at crybaby@mediahostage.com.

we've got 2 new mp3s in our audio section!
go there now for a
preview of our upcoming
album (the "in the morning" single) as
well
as a track that won't even be on the LP(s)!

hell, a year ago at this time, we thought our
first full-length record
would be coming out
in early 2002...now its more like early 2003...
we
WILL actually put it out this time though!!
as we continue
recording our songs, we are
finding that we actually have 20+ songs we'd
like to release; a bit too much for one LP, eh?!
so, we plan to go
ahead and put out our LP
in the spring, and then find another home for
the rest of the songs sometime after that.
also, tell your friends
to come out to our shows a
nd sign our mailing list; they'll get a free
CD if
they do! see you soon!
